BSA TROOP 676 ANNUAL TREE PICKUP

Give your leftover Christmas Tree to the Boy Scouts!

Once the holidays are over, what should you do with your Christmas tree? Give it to the Boy Scouts! On January 6th, Troop 676 will pick up your undecorated trees, placed curbside, and turn them into mulch for local parks.

3 Methods of Tree Collection.

1. If you received a flyer in December, you’re on our route already and you don’t need to do anything more.  We’ll see you January 6th starting at 9am.

2. You can also drop off your tree starting at 9am at Lake Sammamish State Park (1st parking lot to the left after the main entrance on the south side.)

3. If you didn’t receive a flyer, please provide your address and we’ll make a special trip to get your tree!

The suggested donation amount is $35 per tree. Use the QR code or this link for PayPal.

Why donate? The Pacific Northwest is a beautiful area with abundant rivers, trails and wildlife. We want to give our kids the opportunity to get outside and enjoy it! 100% of your donation helps Troop 676 purchase tents, pay for summer camp and plan for the next adventure. It is tax deductible, and you will help support the next generation of leaders.

We cannot accept trees with tinsel or other decorations as it makes bad mulch.  We will accept PayPal, cash or checks made out to Troop 676.  Please note that our Troop, like most Scout Troops, operates out of a church, that’s why you will see Our Savior Lutheran Church mentioned on PayPal.  With any additional questions, please email us at Scoutmastertroop676@comcast.net
